A high-performance vibrating feeder relies on three core components, each engineered to enhance durability, stability, and operational convenience:
1. Vibrator
The vibrator is the "power core" of the feeder, as the magnitude of its excitation force directly determines the feeder’s amplitude. Our vibrating feeders adopt a double eccentric shaft as the excitation source—this design ensures stable amplitude and continuous material conveying, eliminating interruptions in the production line.
Adjustable & Stable: The excitation force and material flow rate can be modified and controlled in real time, adapting to dynamic production needs.
Low Noise: Reduces operational noise significantly, creating a more comfortable working environment for on-site personnel.
2. Bearing Housing
As the component directly bearing material load, the bearing housing requires exceptional rigidity and strength. It is typically fabricated by welding carbon steel, low-alloy structural steel, or stainless steel plates with a thickness ranging from 2mm to 10mm.
3. Shock Absorber
The shock absorber serves dual purposes: supporting the entire feeder structure and absorbing vibrations to minimize impact on surrounding equipment.
Vibrating feeders offer two mounting options, each tailored to different site conditions:
Suspended Mounting: Comprises helical compression springs, steel cables, anti-sway weights, lifting rings, and cable clamps. This design is suitable for scenarios requiring flexible installation.
Base Mounting: Consists of shock-absorbing springs, upper/lower spring supports, locking blocks, screen box trunnions, and friction dampers. The upper spring support connects directly to the screen box trunnion for stable load-bearing.
Working Principle
Driven by an electric motor, the vibrating feeder generates powerful linear excitation force, forcing the machine body to undergo forced vibration on supporting springs. Under this vibration, materials slide and bounce along the trough, moving forward steadily to achieve continuous feeding.Notably, when materials pass through the screen bars on the trough, smaller particles fall through the gaps between the bars—this integrated screening function eliminates the need for separate pre-screening processes, significantly improving overall production efficiency.
